MLB Note - Colorado Rockies Gray, Jon
Sep 23, 2017 - 8:31 AM RHP Jon Gray allowed one run on five hits and a walk with eight strikeouts in six innings Friday night to improve to 9-4 on the season while lowering his earned run average to 3.62. Gray is 4-0 over his last four road starts with a 1.44 ERA with 28 strikeouts in 25 innings. It was Gray's 12th straight start allowing three or fewer runs, which is tied for the second-longest streak in Rockies history with Ubaldo Jimenez (July 10-Sept. 7, 2009). Jimenez also holds the franchise record with 14 straight starts allowing three runs or less to start the 2010 season.No one has shouted yet.
