MLB Note - St. Louis Cardinals DeJong, Paul
Sep 23, 2017 - 8:31 AM SS Paul DeJong made what could have been a costly mistake in the eighth inning when his error allowed Pittsburgh to score a go-ahead run. DeJong's flip to 2B Kolten Wong was high on what probably would have been a double-play grounder. Manager Mike Matheny called it "a blip on the screen defensively." DeJong was relieved when St. Louis came back to win. "The guys picked me up and got a team win," he said. "Really, it's all good."No one has shouted yet.
