MLB Note - Minnesota Twins Kepler, Max
Sep 23, 2017 - 8:30 AM RF Max Kepler kicked in with a home run off a lefty Friday night and also singled home a run as he has responded to a challenge from manager Paul Molitor to raise the level of his game. Kepler's home run leading off the third inning came against LHP Daniel Norris. "We're down to the wire here," Molitor said. "He's had to sit and watch it probably more than I would have liked to, it just seemed like the right thing when we've sat him down a little bit. In this park in particular and the way pitching and defense plays down the stretch I think that's been the biggest part of my decision (to play him). I was hoping he would respond some offensively and I think he's done that."No one has shouted yet.
