MLB Note - Washington Nationals Kendrick, Howie
Sep 23, 2017 - 8:30 AM IF/OF Howie Kendrick was the only Nationals player to record multiple hits Friday night, when he went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and two runs scored in a 7-6 loss to the Mets. Kendrick, who started at second base with 2B Daniel Murphy getting the night off, was hit by a pitch and scored on 1B Adam Lind's three-run homer in the third before he delivered his run-scoring double in the fifth. He came around to score on a two-run triple by CF Victor Robles. Kendrick also singled in the ninth inning. He is batting .321 with eight homers, 40 RBIs and 12 stolen bases in 84 games between the Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies this season.No one has shouted yet.
