MLB Note - Seattle Mariners Cruz, Nelson

Sep 23, 2017 - 8:30 AM DH Nelson Cruz was named the Mariners' Most Valuable Player as voted on by the Seattle chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America. His homer was his fifth career walk-off shot -- and his first with the Seattle Mariners. It was also the third straight game Cruz has homered, the fourth time he has done that this season.
