MLB Note - Washington Nationals Kelley, Shawn
Sep 24, 2017 - 7:46 AM RHP Shawn Kelley (right forearm) is scheduled to undergo what manager Dusty Baker called "extensive testing" early next week. Baker said Kelley, who left Friday's game after recording one out in the eighth inning when his right arm went numb and his hand swelled up after delivering a pitch to Mets CF Juan Lagares, is dealing with inflammation and nerve issues in his arm, though the testing will determine exactly where the problem is located. Kelley also battled a similar injury during the playoffs last season. Kelley, who missed two months earlier this season because of a back injury, is 3-2 with a 7.27 ERA and four saves in 33 games this year.No one has shouted yet.
