MLB Note - Cincinnati Reds Hamilton, Billy
Sep 24, 2017 - 7:44 AM CF Billy Hamilton was given a scheduled day off on Saturday, although he was available to pinch hit. "It was built in," Reds manager Bryan Price said. "He came out of (Friday's start) good." Hamilton returned to the lineup on Friday, two days after being reinstated from the disabled list, where he'd been since Sept. 6 when he fractured his left thumb attempting to bunt. He went 2-for-5 with a run scored but was thrown out on his only steal attempt on Friday. No one has shouted yet.
