MLB Note - Detroit Tigers Ferrell, Jeff
Sep 24, 2017 - 7:45 AM RHP Jeff Ferrell, hit in the head by a line drive Monday night, remains under baseball's concussion protocol. There is no indication of when or if he will return this season. He was struck in the back of the head with two outs in the eighth by a line drive off the bat of DH Ryon Healy of Oakland.No one has shouted yet.
