MLB Note - Washington Nationals Goodwin, Brian

Sep 24, 2017 - 7:45 AM OF Brian Goodwin (left groin strain) participated in a simulated game Saturday afternoon prior to the Nationals' 4-3, 10-inning win over the Mets. Manager Dusty Baker said that Goodwin was not as far along in his rehab as RF Bryce Harper, who also played a simulated game Saturday. Baker's comments are an indication Goodwin may not make it back to the Nationals before the end of the regular season. Goodwin was placed on the disabled list Aug. 14 (retroactive to Aug. 12). He is batting .251 with 13 homers and 30 RBIs in 74 games this season.
