MLB Note - Washington Nationals Harper, Bryce

Sep 24, 2017 - 7:45 AM RF Bryce Harper (left knee bruise) participated in a simulated game Saturday afternoon prior to the Nationals' 4-3, 10-inning win over the Mets. It was the second simulated game this week for Harper, who hasn't played for the Nationals since he was injured trying to beat out an infield hit Aug. 12. Manager Dusty Baker said Harper was further along in his rehab than the team expected and that he'd likely return to the team during the final week of the regular season in order to get some at-bats prior to the playoffs. Harper is batting .326 with 29 homers and 87 RBIs in 106 games this season.
