MLB Note - Washington Nationals Cole, A.J.
Sep 26, 2017 - 9:47 AM RHP A.J. Cole put together a strong performance in a 3-1 Washington win in Philadelphia Monday night to lift his record to 3-5. Cole lasted 5 2/3 innings and allowed one run on five hits while striking out five. His only blemish came on a solo home run off the bat of Odubel Herrera in the fourth inning. Cole has allowed one run in four of his eight starts in 2017, two of which came against Philadelphia. The righty also collected his first career hit with a single in the second inning Monday.No one has shouted yet.
