MLB Note - New York Mets Lugo, Seth
Sep 26, 2017 - 9:47 AM RHP Seth Lugo had his best start of the season Monday night, when he earned the win after allowing two hits and no walks while striking out seven over six scoreless innings in the Mets' 3-2 victory over the Braves in the second game of a doubleheader. It was the second scoreless outing of the season for Lugo, who hadn't allowed fewer than four hits in a start prior to Monday. The walk-free effort was the fourth in 17 starts for Lugo, who was one strikeout shy of his season and career high. Manager Terry Collins said afterward Lugo will likely make one more start this year. Lugo is 7-5 with a 4.72 ERA in 18 games this season.No one has shouted yet.
