Oct 1, 2017 - 7:39 AM DH Khris Davis went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI in Oakland's 8-4 loss to Texas on Saturday. In the Texas series, Davis is 5-for-9 with two doubles, two walks, a hit-by-pitch, and three runs scored. He entered having homered three times in his last seven games, while becoming the second player in Athletics franchise history with back-to-back 40-home run seasons. Jimmie Foxx did it three straight seasons from 1932-34. He enters the final day of the season one home run ahead of Texas' Joey Gallo for second in the AL.No one has shouted yet.
