MLB Note - Atlanta Braves Dickey, R.A.
Oct 1, 2017 - 7:39 AM RHP R.A. Dickey, 42, is pondering retirement. If he decides to return, the Braves can either exercise his 2018 option for $8 million or give him a $500,000 buyout. Dickey told mlb.com his decision will be based on the desire of his wife and four children. If he decides to play, he wants to be near the family home in Nashville, which means staying in Atlanta or playing for the St. Louis Cardinals or Cincinnati Reds. Dickey finished this season with a 10-10 record and a 4.26 ERA.No one has shouted yet.
