MLB Note - Cincinnati Reds Arroyo, Bronson
Oct 2, 2017 - 5:51 AM RHP Bronson Arroyo said on Sunday that he'll wrap up a 16-season big league career. Arroyo, on the disabled since June 19 with a shoulder injury, was 148-137 with a 4.28 ERA in 419 big league games. He played for the Pirates, Red Sox, Reds and Diamondbacks, rejoining Cincinnati this season where he went 3-6 with a 7.35 ERA in 14 games this season (all starts). He was saluted on the Wrigley Field scoreboard in the third inning and stepped out of the dugout to acknowledge cheers from Cubs fans.No one has shouted yet.
