MLB Note - Los Angeles Dodgers Turner, Justin
Oct 16, 2017 - 5:29 AM 3B Justin Turner hit the second walk-off homer in Dodgers postseason history. The other was by Kirk Gibson, 29 years earlier to the day.On a 1-0 count to Turner, Cubs RHP John Lackey grooved a 91 mph fastball over the plate. Turner didn't miss it, blasting it over the fence in center field for the dramatic victory.
Turner also drove in the Dodgers' first run with a two-out RBI single in the fifth inning.
Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts said, "He just has that pulse where he can kind of keep his calm and stay within the strike zone. He's not afraid to fail and just wants to be in that spot."
