Blue Jays seek fourth straight win

May 31, 2008 - 1:52 PM ANAHEIM, California (Ticker) -- The Toronto Blue Jays go after their fourth consecutive win on Saturday when they visit the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

In Friday's series opener, Lyle Overbay homered twice and Scott Rolen drove in a pair of runs as the Blue Jays used a four-run fifth inning to post a 10-4 victory.

Toronto's Shaun Marcum (5-3, 2.64 ERA) takes the mound in this one after limiting the Kansas City Royals to just two runs and five hits in 7 1/3 innings of a 7-2 victory on Monday.

Marcum didn't fare to well in his last outing against the Angels, allowing four runs on four hits over 6 2/3 frames at the Rogers Centre. He is 2-1 lifetime against Anaheim.

John Lackey (1-1, 2.05) starts for the Angels. The righthander is coming off Sunday's 3-2 loss at Chicago in which he surrenderd a solo homer to Carlos Quentin in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Lackey gave up one run and seven hits over seven innings in beating Toronto on May 20.
