Astros RHP Oswalt takes the hill
Jun 10, 2008 - 2:20 PM Milwaukee (33-30) at Houston (32-32) 8:05 pm EDTHOUSTON (Ticker) -- Roy Oswalt looks to get back on track Tuesday when the Houston Astros open a three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Oswalt (4-6, 5.38 ERA) has not registered a winning decision since beating the San Francisco Giants on May 17, going 0-3 in his last four outings. Most recently, the righthander gave up four runs through six innings in a 5-2 setback at Pittsburgh last Wednesday.
The 30-year-old Oswalt owns a 12-8 record with a 3.69 ERA over 24 lifetime starts against the Brewers, who got four runs off the righthander during their setback to Houston on May 2.
Seth McClung (3-2, 4.25) gets the call for the Brewers, who lost two games during their weekend series at Colorado. In his last outing, McClung gave up just one run through six innings of a 7-1 triumph over Arizona last Tuesday.
The 6-6 McClung owns a 2-1 record since Brewers manager Ned Yost decided to place him into the rotation.
