Bradley due back when Rangers visit Astros

HOUSTON (Ticker) -- Milton Bradley hopes to return to the starting lineup on Tuesday when the Texas Rangers open a three-game series against the Houston Astros.

Bradley, who is tied with Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees for the top batting average in the American League (.332), hasn't started any of the last five games for the Rangers after straining his left quadriceps last Tuesday against the Atlanta Braves.

Despite Bradley's absence, Texas has won three of its last four games, including a 5-3 victory over the Washington Nationals on Sunday during their three-game interleague series finale.

Rookie Eric Hurley (0-0, 4.91 ERA) looks to continue the Rangers' success and earn his first major league win when he takes the mound on Tuesday.

Hurley allowed just two runs and five hits in five innings, walking two while striking out five but did not factor in the decision during Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Atlanta Braves.

Brian Moehler (3-3, 4.35) counters for the Astros after surrendering just one run and six hits in 6 1/3 innings. Moehler, 36, took a no-decision however as Houston suffered a 2-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday.
