Top MLB Parlay Odds Picks for Tuesday, May 24 (2022)

May 24, 2022 - 2:14 PM

It’s a new week of baseball. We’ve got three straight days to hit a parlay and have a profitable week. I’ve added my three favorite money lines to tonight’s parlay with a full slate of games today.

Let’s get the job done.

CTA MLB Bet MGM

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Washington Nationals

The Dodgers are starting to come around offensively. Last night was proof. Tonight, the Dodgers take on Josiah Gray, their prized prospect from not too long ago. Either Gray has a brilliant “told you so” moment, or he gets whacked.

He’s likely going to get whacked. Gray has had a 5.51 xFIP in the last 30 days with 8.9% of walks. He’s getting a low amount of grounders and giving up a lot of line drives.

Meanwhile, the Dodgers have a wOBA of .318 using their projected lineup and get 12.4% of walks with just 36.5% of ground balls and nearly 24% of line drives. This is an excellent matchup for the Dodgers, and with Walker Buehler on the mound, confidence rises even more.

Bet: Dodgers (-220 via DraftKings)

Detroit Tigers vs. Minnesota Twins

The Twins will send out Sonny Gray, who has been terrific analytically in the last 30 days. Gray has a 2.78 xFIP with 33.3% of strikeouts. Yes, he’s walking 10%, too. However, he’s taking on a Tigers lineup with a .084 ISO and wOBA of .234 against righties. The Tigers hit 51.3% of ground balls with the projected lineup in the last 30 days and haven’t been able to hit 20% of line drives.

On the other hand, Beau Brieske is slated to take the mound for the Tigers. He has a 6.67 xFIP with 12.8% of strikeouts and 9.6% of walks in the last 30 days. Brieske has been very lucky to start the year with a BABIP of .235 in the previous 30 days. That’s going to inflate a bit as the season progresses.

Take the Twins.

Bet: Twins (-255 via DraftKings)

Milwaukee Brewers vs. San Diego Padres

It’s Corbin Burnes against Blake Snell. But only one of these notable pitchers is having a good season so far this year.

Blake Snell had a 5.63 xFIP in his first start of the season, along with 17.6% of walks. That’s not going to cut it against a Brewers lineup with a ton of right-handed power, including Andrew McCutchen and Hunter Renfroe.

Meanwhile, Corbin Burnes has been electric. He has a 3.25 xFIP in the last 30 days with 31.7% of strikeouts and just 3.2% of walks. I’d rather ride with Burnes in this one, especially knowing that the Padres have a .123 ISO and wOBA of .281 against righties in the last 30 days.

The Brewers have the better offense, the better pitcher, and are slight underdogs with the former Cy Young on the mound. Let’s ride the Brew Crew.

Bet: Brewers (-135 via DraftKings)

Parlay: (+252 via DraftKings)
