We compiled several projection sources to come up with consensus projections. We then compared these projections to the prop bet odds from the sportsbooks to give you the best prop bet picks. Based on those findings, we’ll share the best MLB player prop bets every morning.

9 MLB Player Prop Bet Odds & Picks

Tampa Bay Rays vs. Baltimore Orioles

• Randy Arozarena 2+ Total Bases (-115)
• Yandy Diaz 1+ Hit (-270)
• Shane McClanahan 9+K’s (-168)

I know Shane McClanahan wasn’t himself in the All-Star Game. But that’s over now. He’s facing the Baltimore Orioles, who have a .134 ISO and wOBA of .282 against lefties in the last 30 days with their projected lineup.

Meanwhile, McClanahan struck out 37% of his last 92 batters. Recently, he’s had more success striking out righties compared to lefties. The Orioles will have just one lefty in their lineup tonight.

On the other hand, Spenser Watkins will take the hill for the Orioles with a 4.76 xFIP in the last 30 days. The Rays haven’t been the most electric offense lately, but the top of the order is getting the job done.

Yandy Diaz has a .400 wOBA in his last 77 plate appearances against righties, while Randy Arozarena has a .247 ISO and wOBA of .380 in his previous 83 plate appearances against righties. Those two should be able to get it done along with McClanahan.

San Francisco Giants vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

• Darin Ruf to hit a Home Run (+370)
• Yermin Mercedes 1+ Hit (-260)
• Thairo Estrada 1+ Hit (-250)

I don’t typically add home run props in these bets. But I love Darin Ruf’s potential against Tyler Gilbert tonight.

Gilbert is a left-hander pitcher with a 6.71 xFIP in the last 30 days. He’s also struck out just 7.1% of batters faced in that time frame.

He’ll take on a Giants lineup that has a ton of potential. As a lineup, the Giants are hitting a .247 ISO and wOBA of .373 in the last 3o days against lefties. Things haven’t worked out in the second half of the season, but I think things will turn around tonight.

Darin Ruf has a .405 ISO and wOBA of .429 against lefties in his last 30 days against them, and the power is there for him to hit a bomb. Meanwhile, Yermin Mercedes has a .233 ISO and wOBA of .365 in his last 30 days against lefties. Lastly, Thairo Estrada has a .481 ISO and wOBA of .447 in his previous 29 plate appearances against lefties.

Back the Giants everywhere today. They’re going to get back on track.

Washington Nationals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

• Freddie Freeman 2+ Total Bases (-115)
• Jake Lamb 1+ Hit (-120)
• Gavin Lux 1+ Hit (-120)

Josiah Gray will take the hill for the Nationals tonight. He has a 3.88 xFIP while striking out 32% of batters faced in the last 30 days. However, lefties have hit a wOBA of .462 and ISO of .400 in that same time frame.

We’ll stack the hard-hitting lefties of the Dodgers against Gray.

Freddie Freeman has been on an absolute tear lately, hitting a .364 ISO and wOBA of .511 against righties in the last 30 days. Jake Lamb has a .289 ISO with a wOBA of .379 in his last 44 plate appearances against righties.

Lastly, Gavin Lux has a .277 ISO and wOBA of .470 against righties in his last 55 plate appearances against them. Stack the lefties (minus Cody Bellinger), and you should be good to go!
