Harden, Cubs look to keep rolling
Aug 24, 2008 - 6:44 AM Washington (46-84) at Chi Cubs (79-50) 2:20 p.m. EDTCHICAGO (Ticker) -- Rich Harden has been dominant since moving to the National League. He will be looking for his fourth straight win Sunday when the Chicago Cubs host the Washington Nationals.
Harden (8-2, 2.04 ERA) has not allowed a run in either of his past two starts and has surrendered more than one run in an outing once in seven starts since joining the Cubs on July 8. The Canadian righthander is 3-1 with a 1.50 ERA with Chicago.
He leads all major league starters with 80 or more innings pitched with a .194 batting average against and a 2.04 ERA.

The Cubs picked up a 9-2 win on Saturday as Ryan Dempster earned his 15th victory with 7 1/3 strong innings and Aramis Ramirez hit a pair of three-run homers.
The Nationals will send Jason Bergmann (2-9, 4.50) to the mound. The 26-year-old righthander did not factor in the decision Tuesday at Philadelphia, when he allowed three earned runs in 6 1/3 innings.
