Without mentioning it in this article I am still a fan of the Aaron Judge home run bet. As long as the AL record is still in reach he will play and get 4+ chances at going deep.

Javier Baez o1.5 TB +130

Baez has had a rough season overall but the one thing he does well still is hit lefties. He has a wRC+ of 138 against southpaws and gets Daniel Lynch today. This is a good spot for Baez.

Austin Riley o0.5 HR +425

Josiah Gray has allowed home runs at a pace that we rarely see at the MLB level. He is allowing more than two homers per nine innings and Riley is the most prolific power hitter in the Braves lineup.

Jesus Luzardo u5.5 -105

Luzardo has been fantastic this season but this is a bet on the Mets bats. They are one of the few teams with something to play for and they have a sub-20 % K-rate against lefties this season. It will be tough for Luzardo hit this number

Daniel Lynch u1.5 BB +110

Lynch has an elevated walk rate and it’s a major reason why he has struggled at the MLB level. The Tigers have the lowest walk rate in baseball against lefties and are full of free swingers. It’s two opposing forces and we just have to see which one will break.

Michael Lorenzen u15.5 Outs -110

Lorenzen is making his fourth start since returning from the IL and he has recorded more than 15 outs only once in those three. Dating back to before the injury he had three other starts below this number. The Athletics offense is below average but its unlikely that Lorenzen can go deep enough to hit the over here.
