Phillies hoping to hang on to division lead

MIAMI (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia Phillies look to keep pace in the National League East when they visit the Florida Marlins on Sunday.

Philadelphia, which has won eight of nine, leads the division by a half-game over the New York Mets (86-68).

The Phillies hope to continue their push to the postseason and will send crafty 45-year-old Jamie Moyer (14-7, 3.86 ERA) to the hill.

Moyer has not lost since August 5 despite getting rocked by Atlanta on Tuesday. The lefthander gave up six runs in 5 2/3 innings.

Moyer is 3-1 with a 3.12 ERA in four starts against Florida this season.

Looking to play spoiler, Florida will counter with rookie Chris Volstad (5-3, 3.07).

The 21-year-old righthander is coming off one of his best starts to date. On Tuesday, he allowed one run over eight innings in a win against Houston.
