White Sox knock around Hirsh, Rockies

Feb 26, 2009 - 11:50 PM TUCSON, Arizona (Ticker) -- Gavin Floyd allowed one run in two innings of work as the Chicago White Sox defeated the Colorado Rockies, 4-1, on Thursday.

Corky Miller had three hits and an RBI and Wilson Betemit also drove in a run with a double for the White Sox, who scored all four runs in the opening three innings.

Colorado starter Jason Hirsh was battered for three runs and six hits in two innings of work to take the loss.

Huston Street, who was one of three players sent to the Oakland Athletics on November 12 in exchange for All-Star outfielder Matt Holliday, allowed a run on three hits in one inning of action.
