Timberwolves handle Bucks in preseason action
Dec 18, 2011 - 3:47 AM Minneapolis, MN (Sports Network) - Kevin Love netted 21 points and pulled down 15 rebounds, leading the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 117-96 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks in the preseason opener for both squads.Michael Beasley also netted 21 points and grabbed six rebounds, while J.J. Barea made a good impression on his new team, finishing with 14 points and six assists. Former Arizona standout and second-overall pick Derrick Williams donated 14 points.
Jon Leuer led the Bucks with 18 points, while Mike Dunleavy added 16 points and five assists. Carlos Delfino chipped in with 11 points and Brandon Jennings donated seven points.
