Holiday leads Sixers over Wizards
Dec 21, 2011 - 2:58 AM Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Jrue Holiday scored a game-high 24 points and was one of six members of the 76ers to score in double-digits as Philadelphia closed out its brief preseason with a 101-94 victory over the Washington Wizards.Andre Iguodala, Evan Turner and Thaddeus Young each netted 13 points, while Jodie Meeks and Louis Williams contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the 76ers, who open their regular season schedule Monday at Portland.
JaVale McGee paced the Wizards with 20 points and added nine rebounds in the loss. Jordan Crawford scored 18 points with six boards and John Wall dropped in 17 for Washington, which hosts New Jersey on Monday to open its season.
