Grizzlies down Nuggets on Cunningham's buzzer beater

Feb 18, 2012 - 3:43 AM Memphis, TN (Sports Network) - Memphis saw its 23-point lead disappear in the second half, but Dante Cunningham's tip-in with 0.2 seconds left in the game lifted the Grizzlies to a 103-102 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Friday.

Rudy Gay scored 20 points, O.J. Mayo had 17 and Marc Gasol added 16 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists in the Grizzlies' third straight win and their fifth in six games.

Corey Brewer scored all 26 of his points in second half while sinking five three-pointers to pace the Nuggets, but it was not enough for Denver to avoid its eighth loss in nine games.

Kenneth Faried recorded his first career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort.
