Tyler Hansbrough recorded a double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds, and George Hill also scored 14 points and grabbed seven boards for the Pacers, who came into the game off a 111-90 win at Cleveland on Monday. Gerald Green had 15 points and eight rebounds off the bench.
"After four games in five nights, to beat a team by 22 points, a team that has been playing well, is a really, really good effort by our guys," said Pacers coach Frank Vogel. "When you play a fourth game in five nights, you need somebody like Tyler Hansbrough to bring the energy he brought tonight."
Moe Harkless and Arron Afflalo scored 10 points apiece for the Magic, who have lost four straight and 14 of their last 17 games. Nikola Vucevic had nine points and 11 rebounds.
"Early I thought we had some looks that just didn't go in," said Magic coach Jacque Vaughn. "Whether it was a putback, a dunk attempt, a transition play or an open three - they just didn't go in. So that makes it tough when you are going back on the defensive end."
The Magic had a 12-7 with 5:07 left in the first quarter, but the Pacers went on 12-0 run through the remainder of the period and maintained the lead for the rest of the game.
Entering the second quarter, Indiana led 19-12.
The Pacers pulled away even further, outscoring the Magic 23-17 in the second, which included a 7-0 spurt midway in the period, and went into halftime with a 42-29 advantage.
In the third, Orlando got within eight, 44-36, with just under nine minutes to go, but it was the closest the Magic would reach.
Indiana had a 67-55 lead entering the fourth.
By then, both sides allowed their benches playing time. Green scored 10 points in the period, including the final score of the game, and Indiana outscored Orlando, 26-18, to take the win.
