Blazers outlast Raptors in OT

Damian Lillard added 25 points and eight assists for the Blazers, who have won six in a row. Nicolas Batum and Wesley Matthews tallied 24 and 17 points, respectively.
Rudy Gay ended with 30 points and 10 rebounds for the Raptors, who have lost two straight. DeMar DeRozan and Jonas Valanciunas added 29 and 19 points, respectively.
Trailing 100-89 with 2:42 left in the fourth quarter, the Raptors closed out the game on a 13-2 run. DeRozan, Gay and Kyle Lowry combined to score the first eight points of the surge.
"They got aggressive and we got passive," Lillard said of the Raptors' late comeback. "We struggled on offense...and they found their way back into the game."
After Aldridge made two free throws to give Portland a 102-97 lead, DeRozan went to the foul line. DeRozan made the first and missed the second but Landry Fields came down with a big offensive rebound. DeRozan followed with a slam to make it a two-point game with 35.1 seconds to go.
Aldridge missed a jumper and Fields came down with the defensive rebound. Gay forced overtime with a buzzer-beating layup.
Trailing 107-104 with less than three minutes remaining in overtime, Lillard made a 3-pointer to spark a 14-3 Portland run. Batum made back-to-back shots from beyond the arc to make it a 115-107 game.
Mo Williams capped the surge with a pair of free throws to make it 118-110.
"(They're) one of the best offensive teams that we've seen," Raptors coach Dwane Casey said.
Portland led by as many as eight in a first half that featured 16 lead changes and nine ties. The Blazers took a 57-54 lead into the locker room.
Portland outscored Toronto by a 22-15 margin in the third quarter to build a 79-69 margin.
The Raptors responded with a big fourth period to send the game into overtime.

Williams had 13 points for the Blazers, who went 15-of-32 from beyond the arc ... Toronto went 23-of-31 from the foul line ... Lowry tallied 10 points and 10 assists for the Raptors.
