Heat beat Sixers to snap 3-game slide

The Heat snapped a season-high three-game skid and avenged a 114-110 loss to the Sixers on Oct. 30.
Chris Bosh had 25 points, six rebounds and five blocks for Miami, which improved to 1-3 on a six-game road trip. LeBron James tallied 21 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds.
"We came in with a better focus and intensity," Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said. "Guys were more committed defensively. It's good to get back to winning."
Tony Wroten had 13 points for the Sixers, who have lost five of their last six games. Evan Turner tallied 11 points and Thaddeus Young, Spencer Hawes and Hollis Thompson each donated 10 points.
"They stopped us from our penetration and getting good looks," Sixers guard Michael Carter-Williams said.
Bosh made a jumper 17 seconds into the game and the Heat never looked back. Holding an 18-13 lead, Miami used a 7-0 spurt to build a 12-point margin.
The Heat shot 55 percent from the field in the first quarter and took a 34-24 edge into the second.
Miami scored the first six points of the second stanza to make it a 40-24 contest. The Heat outscored Philadelphia by a 24-17 margin in the period to take a 58-41 lead into the locker room.
The visitors led by as many as 25 in the second half.

Miami is 18-3 in the last 21 meetings with Philadelphia ... Heat forward Chris Andersen and center Greg Oden sat out with knee injuries ...
