"We played pretty flat but DeAndre Jordan just singlehandidly kept us in with his defense, his rebounding and everything else," Clippers head coach Doc Rivers said.

An Al-Farouq Aminu dunk pulled the Pelicans within 55-51 early in the third before the Clippers responded with a 15-2 run to seize control of the contest. Griffin netted six points during the surge, including a driving dunk to cap it and extend the LA margin to 70-53 midway through the frame.
