Oct 16, 2008 - 4:48 AM SACRAMENTO, California (Ticker) -- Eric Gordon scored 21 of his 33 points in the fourth quarter as the Los Angeles Clippers rallied past the Sacramento Kings, 116-112, in a preseason game on Wednesday.

Gordon, the seventh overall pick from Indiana in the draft, shot 11-of-24 overall and 6-of-11 from behind the arc. The Clippers erased a 13-point halftime deficit with a 65-point second half.

Sacramento had a final chance to tie the game, but Bobby Jackson missed a driving shot with three seconds left.

Mike Taylor hit two free throws to ice the victory. The rookie from Iowa State finished with 21 points.

Kevin Martin scored 27 of his 29 points in the first half as the Kings opened a double-digit lead.

Martin went off, shooting 8-of-9 from the field and 9-of-12 from the foul line in 16 minutes as Sacramento surged to a 64-51 lead at intermission. Martin played sparingly in the second half, sitting the entire fourth quarter.

The Clippers chipped away at the deficit in the third quarter, closing the gap to 88-80.

Francisco Garcia added 15 points for the Kings.
