Turkoglu, Magic roll Grizzlies in preseason finale

Oct 23, 2008 - 1:58 AM ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Hedo Turkoglu scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Orlando Magic capped off their preseason with a 101-90 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

Rashard Lewis dropped in 22 points and J.J. Redick added 15 off the bench for the Magic, who have reeled off six straight wins after dropping their preseason opener.

Dwight Howard collected 11 points and eight rebounds in just over 23 minutes while Jameer Nelson dished out seven assists and Anthony Johnson added six.

Memphis, which was outscored 29-13 in the opening quarter en route to its fourth straight loss, got 18 points off the bench from Darrell Arthur.

Mike Conley scored 13 points and Javaris Crittenton collected 11 and six boards for the Grizzlies.

Both teams open their regular season schedules on October 29, with Memphis traveling to Houston to take on the Rockets and Orlando hosting the Atlanta Hawks.

The teams will meet on October 31 in Memphis for their first of two regular-season matchups.
