James in midseason form as Cavaliers rout Wizards
Oct 25, 2008 - 2:41 AM COLUMBUS, OHIO (Ticker) -- LeBron James appears ready for the regular season.James scored 26 points and his new runningmate Mo Williams added 15 as the Cleveland Cavaliers rolled to a 107-80 victory over the Washington Wizards in preseason action on Friday.
"King James" shot 9-of-14 from the floor and added six assists and five rebounds in 29 minutes.
Williams, who was acquired in a three-team trade in the offseason, hit 5-of-11 from the floor and grabbed six rebounds. Both appear ready for Cleveland's season opener against the defending champion Boston Celtics on Tuesday.
Antawn Jamison and Antonio Daniels scored 13 points apiece for Washington, which opens the season against New Jersey on Wednesday.
