Jazz look to get back to winning ways against Hawks

Dec 20, 2006 - 3:36 PM Utah (18-7) at Atlanta (9-14) 7:00 pm EST

ATLANTA (Ticker) -- The Utah Jazz look to get back to their winning ways when they face the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.

In the midst of a five-game road trip, the Jazz have dropped two of their last three games, including a 97-96 overtime loss to the New York Knicks on Monday.

Carlos Boozer and Deron Williams each scored 23 points and Mehmet Okur netted 19 for Utah, which shot just 37 percent (33-of-90) from the floor against New York.

Joe Johnson and Marvin Williams each scored 23 points during a 106-104 defeat at the hands of the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. Johnson was back in the Atlanta lineup after missing four games with a calf strain.

The Hawks have dropped their last three home games and have not won at Philips Arena since November 29. They have also had a rough time against the Jazz lately, losing the last seven meetings.
