Bucks look to break road slump agaist Timberwolves

Dec 22, 2006 - 3:28 PM Milwaukee (11-14) at Minnesota (10-12) 8:00 pm EST

MINNEAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Seven trips to the Target Center have resulted in seven straight losses for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks try to end their seven-game losing streak here in the series finale against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.

The last time Milwaukee won here was the 1998-99 season.

Mo Williams recorded his first career triple-double - 19 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists - and Michael Redd scored 28 points as the Bucks posted a 121-95 victory over the Miami Heat on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves will try to recover from a fourth-quarter meltdown against the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday that led to a 111-94 setback. Minnesota led by 12 points prior to falling victim to a 25-2 run by the Lakers.

Kevin Garnett collected 22 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists and Ricky Davis also had 22 points for the Wolves, who totaled just seven points in the final 12 minutes.

The Bucks defeated the Timberwolves, 108-104, last Saturday. Redd and Williams both netted 28 points.
