Bulls seek fifth straight home win

Dec 23, 2006 - 3:00 PM Charlotte (7-18) at Chicago (15-11) 8:30 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls looked lost in Madison Square Garden. A return to the "Windy City" may be just what the doctor ordered.

The Bulls seek their fifth straight home victory when they host the Charlotte Bobcats on Saturday.

Chicago had its five-game winning streak snapped Friday in a 103-92 setback to the New York Knicks.

Ben Gordon scored 27 points and Luol Deng added 20 for Chicago, which shot just 3-of-18 from the arc and was outrebounded, 57-36.

The Bulls return home a day later, looking to improve their 11-2 record at United Center this season.

The Bobcats held on for a 101-89 victory over the resilient Utah Jazz on Friday. Matt Carroll scored all 16 of his points in the fourth quarter to prevent a meltdown.

Emeka Okafor collected 21 points and 10 rebounds and Raymond Felton added 18 points and 12 assists for Charlotte, which forced 19 turnovers.

Chicago owns a 6-2 record all-time against Charlotte.
