Warriors wrap up six-game road trip in Miami
Dec 23, 2006 - 3:51 PM Golden State (14-14) at Miami (11-14) 7:30 pm ESTMIAMI (Ticker) -- After getting off to a miserable start on their road trip, the Golden State Warriors can actually end the trek on a positive note.
The Warriors aim to conclude their six-game road trip with a third straight win when they visit the Miami Heat on Saturday.
Golden State started its travels with three losses in a row before edging Boston on Wednesday and posting a 117-108 victory over Orlando on Friday. Baron Davis scored a season-high 38 points and Mike Dunleavy added 21.
Monta Ellis had 18 points for the Warriors, which outscored the Magic, 37-27, in the fourth quarter.
The Heat had their two-game run ended after a 121-95 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday.
Dwyane Wade netted 27 points and handed out eight assists and Dorell Wright added 14 points for Miami, which was outscored, 68-39, in the second half.
Golden State won the last meeting with Miami but has dropped four of the last five encounters overall.
