Howard hopes to end Magic's four-game slide

Dec 30, 2006 - 4:07 PM Miami (13-16) at Orlando (17-14) 7:00 pm EST

ORLANDO, Florida (Ticker) -- Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic try to end their four-game losing streak when they host the Miami Heat on Saturday.

Howard registered his 22nd double-double of the season and Jameer Nelson and Keyon Dooling scored 20 points apiece in Friday's 112-111 loss at Washington.

Orlando has dropped nine of 12 games since opening the season with a 14-5 record.

Playing without Dwyane Wade, the Heat suffered a 91-81 loss against New Jersey on Friday. Dorrell Wright had career highs of 21 points, six blocks and four steals for Miami, which has lost two straight.

Wade is still resting his injured right wrist and will be a game-time decision. However, Heat forward James Posey will available after serving a one-game suspension Friday.

The Magic have won the last two matchups against the Heat, including a 107-104 triumph on November 24.
