Jazz go for fifth straight win over Trail Blazers
Dec 30, 2006 - 4:49 PM Portland (13-17) at Utah (21-9) 9:00 pm ESTSALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Trying to rebound from a disappointing performance, the Utah Jazz host the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday.
On Thursday, the Jazz endured their largest loss of the season, a 106-83 setback at Western Conference power San Antonio.
Against the Spurs, Deron Williams and Gordan Giricek scored 11 points apiece while rookie Paul Millsap contributed 10.
Portland has lost three of its last four games, including Friday's 98-95 defeat to lowly Philadelphia. Rookie Brandon Roy led the Trail Blazers with 15 points while Zach Randolph added 13.
