Dec 31, 2006 - 4:14 PM New York (13-19) at LA Clippers (13-16) 3:30 pm EST

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The Los Angeles Clippers look to win three straight games for the first time in nearly two months and continue their dominance over the New York Knicks when the teams meet at Staples Center on Sunday.

The Clippers halted a 14-game losing streak to the Sacramento Kings with a 102-93 victory on Friday. Elton Brand scored 22 points on 9-of-15 shooting and Corey Maggette added 21 for Los Angeles, which has won three of its last four since ending a six-game losing streak at Houston on December 23.

The Knicks kicked off a season-high five-game road trip Friday with a 108-86 loss at Phoenix.

Jamal Crawford scored 21 points and Eddy Curry added 19 and 10 rebounds for New York, which has lost its last four games away from home.

Los Angeles has won three straight and seven of the last 10 meetings with New York. The Clippers have also won seven in a row at home against the Knicks since a 77-76 loss on March 25, 1998.
