Morrison looks for another strong outing vs. Timberwolves

Coming off a season-high 30-point performance, Morrison looks for more of the same Monday when the Charlotte Bobcats go for their first three-game winning streak of the campaign against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
After leading the nation in scoring at Gonzaga last season, the 22-year-old Morrison is averaging 13.7 points in his initial campaign with the Bobcats. However, he made just 1-of-15 shots and scored only five points Friday against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Morrison bounced back for the Bobcats in Saturday's 113-102 triumph over the Indiana Pacers. He made 9-of-17 shots from the floor and 10-of-11 free throws in the highest-scoring contest by a rookie this season.
Minnesota finished December by losing six of its last nine games and is just 5-10 on the road this season.
Ricky Davis and Randy Foye scored 18 points each and Kevin Garnett added 17 with 11 rebounds for the Timberwolves in Saturday's 100-92 defeat to the New Jersey Nets.
The teams have split their first four matchups with the home team taking each victory. Brevin Knight scored 24 points to lead Charlotte to a 97-92 triumph over Minnesota on in the previous showdown on April 4.
