Arenas looks for revenge with Wizards in rematch with Bucks

WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Gilbert Arenas had a rare off night in his last outing and is intent on bouncing back.

The league's third-leading scorer at 30.3 points per game, Arenas attempts to lead the Washington Wizards to their sixth win in seven games in Wednesday's rematch against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Prior to Washington's 119-102 loss to Milwaukee on Saturday, Arenas had reached the 20-point mark in 13 straight contests and averaged 37.1 during that stretch. The run included a franchise-record 60-point performance against the Los Angeles Lakers on December 17.

However, Arenas made just 7-of-22 shots from the floor, including 2-of-9 from the arc, to score 19 points against Milwaukee.

Although the Wizards had their five-game winning streak snapped, they extended their streak of 100-point games to 14. Washington is the league's second-highest scoring team (107.7), trailing the Phoenix Suns.

Redd is fifth in the league in scoring (27.8) and is averaging 27.3 in his last nine contests, which includes a pair of 30-point outings. He made 10-of-23 shots and scored 28 against the Wizards on Saturday.

Ruben Patterson scored 21 points and Charlie Bell added 19 points for the the Bucks, who won for the seventh time in eight games.
