Cavaliers look to keep pressure on first-place Pistons

Jan 5, 2007 - 3:15 PM Cleveland (19-12) at Milwaukee (16-16) 8:30 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers look to move into a first-place tie in the Central Division when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks.

Cleveland is one-half game behind Detroit (19-11) for the division lead and the best record in the Eastern Conference.

The Cavaliers won for the fifth time in six games with a 107-104 victory Wednesday at Boston. James scored 32 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 27 points and 11 rebounds for Cleveland, which aims to win consecutive road games for the first time this season.

However they face a Bucks team that has had success at home, winning seven straight at the Bradley Center. Milwaukee lost a 108-105 thriller at Washington on Wednesday when Gilbert Arenas nailed a long 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Michael Redd scored 27 points and Mo Williams added 24 for Milwaukee, which had a chance to take the lead with 10 seconds left and the game tied at 105-105. However Charlie Bell's 3-pointer missed from the corner, giving Arenas a chance to be the hero.

The Cavaliers have won four straight against the Bucks, who are just 1-5 against Central Division teams in 2006-07.
