Harrington, Pacers try to rebound vs. Hornets

OKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) -- The Indiana Pacers try to avoid a season-tying third straight loss when they travel to Oklahoma City to face the moribund Hornets.

Al Harrington scored 24 points and Jermaine O'Neal added 20 for Indiana which suffered a 100-91 home loss to Western power Dallas on Thursday.

O'Neal matched his season-high with 16 rebounds and Harrington added 12 boards for the Pacers who also lost 100-91 against the Hornets on November 3.

The Hornets lost to Detroit 92-68 on Thursday for its third straight loss and has dropped 17 of its last 21 games.

Jannero Pargo scored 16 points and Desmond Mason added 15 for the Hornets, who rank last in the NBA in scoring (89.5 points), and had their lowest point total of the season against the Pistons and shot a season-low 33.0 percent.

The Hornets have been without starters Chris Paul (sprained right ankle), Peja Stojakovic (back surgery) and David West (right elbow surgery), who combined to score 44 points against the Pacers earlier this season.
