Magic face Warriors, aim for fifth straight victory

Jan 10, 2007 - 3:19 PM Orlando (21-14) at Golden State (18-18) 10:30 pm EST

OAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- After a season-high four-game losing streak, the Orlando Magic were glad to see their home court. But now, the Magic are headed back to the road.

The Magic look to extend their four-game winning streak Wednesday when they open a four-game road trip against the Golden State Warriors.

After a surprising start this season, Orlando went on a four-game skid from December 22-29.

But the Magic returned to Orlando and recorded a perfect 4-0 homestand from December 30-January 7, yielding just 76.8 points per game over that stretch.

On Sunday, Grant Hill scored 21 points and Dwight Howard added 18 and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Orlando to an 87-79 triumph over Boston.

Three days later, the Magic look to end their four-game road skid against a Golden State squad looking to bounce back from Sunday's 128-105 loss at Phoenix.

Despite their 4-13 road mark, the Warriors have been outstanding here, going 14-5. Golden State has won six straight home games and has not lost here since dropping a 115-110 decision to the Milwaukee Bucks on December 2.
