Injury-plagued Bucks host Raptors

Jan 10, 2007 - 10:37 PM Toronto (15-20) at Milwaukee (16-18) 8:00 pm EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- Already without their top scorer, the Milwaukee Bucks will have to press on without another sharpshooter.

The injury-riddled Bucks will not have point guard Mo Williams in the lineup Wednesday when they host the Toronto Raptors.

Milwaukee's second-leading scorer at 17.3 points per game, Williams is sidelined up to three weeks with a sprained left shoulder, an injury he suffered late in the first half of Monday's 104-92 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

The Bucks already are without the league's sixth-leading scorer Michael Redd, who is sidelined with a strained knee tendon and will miss up to six weeks.

Ruben Patterson scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, Ersan Ilyasova added 15 points off the bench and Andrew Bogut collected 11 boards for the Bucks against the Nuggets on Monday.

Milwaukee has won seven of its last eight home games and looks to end its three-game skid Wednesday against Toronto, which is just 5-15 on the road.

Rookie Andrea Bargnani, the No. 1 overall draft pick, scored 22 points and Jose Calderon added 16 with 12 rebounds in Toronto's 101-86 loss to the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday.
