Murphy, Dunleavy set to make Pacers debut vs. Knicks

Jan 20, 2007 - 4:03 PM New York (17-24) at Indiana (20-19) 7:00 pm EST

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Jermaine O'Neal and his four new teammates host the New York Knicks on Saturday.

The Indiana Pacers should have Troy Murphy, Mike Dunleavy Jr., Ike Diogu and Keith McLeod in uniform against New York, following Wednesday's eight-player trade that sent Al Harrington, Stephen Jackson, Josh Powell and Sarunas Jasikevicius to Golden State.

"They bring a lot to the team," O'Neal said. "They are good shooters and have a good court presence. I'm really excited about the opportunity to play with those guys."

The Pacers are coming off last Thursday's 104-101 setback to the Miami Heat. Danny Granger scored a career-high 28 points and Marquis Daniels added a season-best 23 points.

The trade could not have come at a better time for Indiana, which plays 14 of its next 17 contests at Conseco Fieldhouse, where the Pacers are 10-6 this season.

The Knicks are coming off Friday's 101-100 defeat to Atlantic Division rival New Jersey. Stephon Marbury and Quentin Richardson combined for 47 points in the loss.

Indiana rolled to a 112-96 triumph over the Knicks in the first meeting here on December 15 as Granger scored 25 points.
