Bulls put home record to the test against Jazz

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls close a five-game homestand on Saturday when they host the first-place Utah Jazz.

The Bulls are 17-5 at home this season. They started the homestand with an 86-83 loss to the New Jersey Nets on January 11, but followed with three straight wins.

Chicago posted a 99-90 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday. Andres Nocioni led the Bulls with 21 points, Ben Gordon scored 20 and Luol Deng added 19.

Nocioni scored just 12 points in a 99-87 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday.

The Jazz, the Northwest Division leader, aim for their third straight win after they downed the Toronto Raptors, 102-94, on Friday. Mehmet Okur, who is averaging 16.1 points per game this season, led the Jazz with 27 points, his third-highest output of the season.

Okur's high of 38 points came in a 114-111 loss to the Washington Wizards on Tuesday. The center is averaging 29.0 points in his last three contests.
